Pademelons take a while to wake up in the morning. First they
like to sit around in the sun. Then they like to have a bit of a scratch and
toenail chew. Then they lounge around a bit more, before getting down to the main
business of the day, which is eating and looking for other places to sit
and scratch.
It is a tough life.

She well knows I can barely touch my toes let alone nibble 'em.

You know --- I'm embarrassed* to admit this --- but I actually tested earlier whether I could nibble my own toenails. The answer is...no. Which is a relief to everyone, no doubt.
