These rope bridges across the Palmerston Highway on the southern Atherton Tablelands allow possums to cross the road safely. I didn't spot any flattened possums while I was driving, but I saw plenty of squashed bandicoots and even a tree kangaroo south of Millaa Millaa. Velocity has a good article about the bridges.
