How did they know?

I just tried to show someone at work the leopard slugs photos and only two of five images loaded. The reason?
[image] is not permitted from the [university] network, as it falls into the Adult/Sexually Explicit category

Apparently images 3 and 4 in the sequence are acceptable.

I suppose roaring with laughter is too outrageously unladylike for The University to countenance?

Oh dear! How did the system know what the slugs were doing?

I, for one, welcome our new network overlords.

It was really bizarre. The image labels are all much the same, with only the number changing: L_maximus1, L_maximus2 etc

I'm tempted to ask how the program works but that might open a can of ... er ... slugs. No doubt my computer has now been flagged as one that surfs pr0n sites. I'd like to see the uni produce those photos as evidence of wrong-doing.

What's even more perplexing is that the slugs aren't even doing much in the first picture.

If only work put as much effort into supporting education as they do into stopping us looking at pictures of amorous molluscs ...
