An occasional blog about natural history, travel, books and writing ... and anything else that catches my attention.
It's been an interesting year. What will unfold in 2012.Hope the weather isn't too rough next week.
It has indeed! And I'm beginning my New Year's resolutions a week early to get in the habit. The BoM's models are looking quite pleasant for us for the next few days. Such a change from this time last year with Cyclone Tasha on Xmas Day. The NT low is predicted to cross the Gulf and Cape towards the end of the week, but at a reasonable distance north of us. (I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that --- and esp. for folks in the Top End tomorrow and Monday.)
And from the Crew of Doves, Geese, Hen, Cat and me, including the various visiting Wildlife in our part of SE Queensland... thoughts will be filled with wishes daily for you and your part of Queensland throughout the remaining 'C' season remain safe...Merry Christmas Snail... and to all your wonderful Critters who give so much pleasure with their antics and poses they allow you to record to share....and a fabulous 2012 to you all...good wishes from magda and crew xxx
I love this!Happy holidays!
Merry Christmas and happy hols!!!!
I Love your bearers of Christmas greetings - or the bah humbug greetings! Nothing quite so cute down here - just rain and more rain from the ex-tropical cyclone that is still somewhere east of Fraser Island. Anyway - Happy Xmas and keep the cute pics coming, please!
This little paddie has quite a lot of personality. Oh, you're getting the after effects of TC Fina. That's not much fun for the hols. It's quite nice here. A bit warm, but I'll take that over heavy rain!
Season's greetings to you too.
And to you, Aydin! Hope you're having great holidays.

Oh, yeah, sorry 'bout that! Being more productive is not actually a resolution -- I'm trying to make it a way of life.Worldwide peace and happiness would be a good start to 2012. What are the odds?! I'm keeping my fingers crossed, though.
