Jottings* from the Tropics: 29 June 2012

Pademelons take a while to wake up in the morning. First they like to sit around in the sun. Then they like to have a bit of a scratch and toenail chew. Then they lounge around a bit more, before getting down to the main business of the day, which is eating and looking for other places to sit and scratch.

It is a tough life.

*These are definitely jottings, not dispatches

After reading this over my shoulder Jo observed that I'd make a terrific Pademelon.

Which is ridiculous ...

She well knows I can barely touch my toes let alone nibble 'em.

Love these little guys - thanks heaps for posting 'em ... jottings or dispatches ... it's always great to read your posts.

Take care eh?

Which one of these did she think you resemble most?

You know --- I'm embarrassed* to admit this --- but I actually tested earlier whether I could nibble my own toenails. The answer Which is a relief to everyone, no doubt.

* where degree of embarrassment = 0
