I am beginning to suspect that Mount Bartle Frere has decided to take off for other climes. I haven't seen it for a while. Sure, it might be masked by the constant rain that dropped by on the weekend and has now settled in like a freeloader. But if I were that mountain, I'd have headed for somewhere with big blue skies.
Here's the mountain in earlier times, when it was still part of the range and the sky was big and blue(ish). The view is from the cafe at the Nerada Tea Plantation, Glen Allyn. This is a great place to grow tea. (And ducks. It's a great place to grow ducks.)
