I thought the circus had put up a big top in the back garden, but it was only a mob of helmeted friarbirds taking a dip in the bath. There was so much squawking and squabbling and jostling that even a passing brush turkey gave them a look of disapproval.
They were in the garden
In the trees
They were in the water
Up to their knees
And while they were drying
In the sun
Someone else was having fun
