Look at this. Look at this! It's not quite finished. The posts have to be trimmed and the pickets sealed, but it's pretty close.

Now all I need is a couple of guards from the Household Cavalry in the garden and I could pass off this place as Buckingham Palace.

Looks like it needs a good strong kennedia growing all over it!!!!Maybe a nice conifer planted in the space next to it. Maybe Allocasuarina duncanii? Looks great!

Hmmm ... I was thinking Alyogyne huegelli and Pimelia physodes.

Allocasuarina duncani sounds good too.

I like the Alyogyne idea. West Coast Gem is the best cultivar. A little light pruning and you will get a nice compact bush with flowers 4-6 months of the year. Bright, Bright, Bright. The Pimelea is another stunner. I like the way you think!!!! I have some Viola hederaceae sens. lat. that is a pure blue (not the normal white and blue, that would provide a wonderful ground cover. Will pot some up and give it to you next time I see you!

Well, I think I know where I got the Alyogyne idea from. I would have gone for the Grevillea 'Moonlight' as well, but I think it'll make that small patch too crowded.

The garden is slowly getting under control ...
