I had plans to write something about the fine art of naming characters but those plans have crumbled into dust because I can't find the book. I wanted to draw on the short story The Goatflap Brothers and the House of Names, in which the protagonist and his sidekick spent much time considering the importance of having just the right name.
But I can't. Because I don't know where the book's gone. If you see it, could you give it a stern talking to and send it back home.
