The day shift

Possums by night and pademelons by day.

Tatty-eared Steptoe likes to see what's going on in the living room. I'm thinking of turning the television around so he can watch something more entertaining.

Seven red-legged pademelons visit my garden on a daily basis, but he's the only one who takes an interest.

So, do you have any snotty nose prints on your windows? I've had a few snotty bear nose prints recently, takes more than a little elbow grease to clean it off. Stresses the cats too.

Maybe Steptoe is the spirit of a lost relative? I feel that way whenever I see a Red-tailed hawk. Mom....is that you? lol.....

Kirk, a few little nose and paw smudges but nothing too bad. (Honeyeater poop is another matter!) I'm with the cats on this. As much as I'd be thrilled to see bears in the wild, I think I'd be a little stressed too to have them press their noses against the window!

Dave, could be, but I suspect he's a hand-reared paddie that's been returned to the wild. He's simultaneously curious and cautious. There's a big struggle going on in that marsupial brain.

Duncan, I'm a bit stunned by it all. It's going to be very interesting in the wet.
