Better than a gnome
Every garden should have an ornamental pademelon.
Red the pademelon takes some time out from nibbling leaves and pooping everywhere to cogitate on life, the universe and whether he should scratch his ear or not.
I like them this way too. Although I didn't mind the old gal pademelon with the one eye that used to come into the kitchen and refuse to move until I lured her back out with yummy banana peel.
I can only assume that the fellow with the possum-as-pets push hasn't actually been near a urinating possum. A possum inna cage = a one marsupial Augean stables.
Lovely - I want one. I'll have it in a slightly lighter shade of brown, on the tawny side, I'd say. Longer legs - not much, just a tad. The ears are fine as is. Oh, and the face is perfect, but I'd like one that does scratch its ear... send to Washington state, USA. May I expect one by August? I'm dying to catch the look on the face of the black bear that wanders through when it sees one of THESE!

wow. you literally (and I do know what that word means) made me spit on my computer, laughing. =)
I agree 100%. =)
Denis, most of the time he sits around looking regal, but I just managed to get him while he was thinking.
Biobabbler, I know! I still smile at his expression.
Who needs native pets when you have this? .. no.. wait.. that's naive luddite thinking from a wildlife puritan :P
*twitch twitch*
.. some people people to get out more and engage with critters in this way :)

Laura, it's weeks later and it still makes me laugh. I dunno. Maybe I need to get out more, but it hasn't stopped being funny.

Depending on which one I pick out, that black bear might be meeting its match!
